Some new ones of Kate

I took Kates pictures this week. She is such a cutie. Thought I would share a few of them.

Good Job Celeste on the cute tutu!

I loved this one. She kept making this face. So silly.

I just threw one on of Linken. I did his too and he is such a funny little guy. This one was my favorite of him. He is 18 months now. Breanne and Justin have their hands full!

Pictures of Eden!

Here she is!! Little baby Eden.

This is my brothers hand holding hers. So tiny!

Here is a section of a letter Danielle wrote to update everyone
...As of now Eden is doing great!! She's been breathing on her own since the beginning and hasn't needed help in that area which is a huge blessing. The only thing that is really bothering her is her little belly, she has a lot of air in it and they are trying to get it out. And she does have jaundice which was kind of expected at her young age. But she has all ten fingers and all ten toes and is beautiful and perfect. We're so blessed to be at the hospital in Provo they have such a great NICU and amazing nurses. As for me... well I'm trying really hard to recover but my body just doesn't want to let my blood pressure drop. Here I remain in the hospital for now.

another little girl makes her entrance!

Baby Eden is here. She was born this morning at about 6 a.m. She was 2 lbs and 15 oz. She was 15 inches long. After they cleaned out her nose and mouth she actually was crying which was good news as for as her lung developement goes. They rushed her off to the nicu. She will be ther for 4-6 weeks. So for so good. We are hoping for the best for Mom and Baby!

Bitter sweet

Today has been a bitter sweet day. It is only 10:15a.m. and it has already been a busy day. First off, Breanne and Justin had their baby girl this morning. Her water broke at 2 a.m. and she was born at 7:40 a.m. We are all so excited for them! Her name is Kate and she weighed 7 lbs 2oz.

Just 20 minutes after Kate was born, One of my other brothers, Trenton, called my Mom and informed her that his baby and his wife are not doing so well. His wife Danielle has had very high bloodpressure and went to the hospital on Saturday. She was diagnosed with Toximia. The doctor has told them that Their baby will need to be delivered within the next day or two. She is not due until December, but it is nessesary for the saftey of mom and Baby. So on the heals of such a great morning, our hearts are with Trenton and Danielle and we pray all goes well with baby Eden and Danielle. I will keep you updated with how it all plays out. Prayers would be appreciated.

Congratulations to Breanne, and Justin! Welcome Kate!!
Our prayers are with Trenton and Danielle and Eden.

feeling a little tense?

I think Mylee was feeling a little tense today...she must have needed a good stretch. I went in their room to find all the books out of one shelf and Mylee using it to assist her in her stretching.

She thought she was being really funny.

Once I got out the camera she really started hamming it up.

Notice the TEETH!! Yes she does have some now! 5 have come through, a couple more are about the make their entrance. Her plan must have been to get them all at once. ;P

Something new

I decidid to do something new with my hair. It is cut a little bit A-Line in the back. I thought it was new, but as I posted it, I realized that my hair looks an awful lot like the family picture from last fall. So maybe it is just a seasonal haircut. I must have a tendncey to want to cut my bangs in the fall. hmm interesting.

Let me know what you think.

Warning in the kitchen!!!

Not a joke....

WARNING IN THE KITCHEN -- Please Read

A student at HBHS had pancakes this week and it almost became fatal. His Mom (registered nurse) made him pancakes, dropped him off at school and headed to play tennis. She never takes her cell phone on the court but did this time and her son called to say he was having trouble breathing. She told him to go to the nurse immediately and proceeded to call school and alert the nurse. The nurse called the paramedics and they were there in 3 minutes and worked on the boy all the way to the hospital. He came so close to dying.

Evidently this is more common then I ever knew.

WARNING ABOUT Pancake Mix (and other boxed mixes) (maybe you already know this, I DID NOT !!) Talk about frightening. .

Check the expiration dates on packages like pancakes and cake mixes that have yeast which over time develop spores.

Throw away ALL OUTDATED pancake mix you have in your home, PLEASE!

If you don't believe me, read this article and then follow the 'Link' below to SNOPES. Sorry to be the Grim Reaper of bad news, but I would rather have you ALIVE. Besides, a $2.00 box of pancake mix is NOT worth your life.

P. S. You might want to tell this to your children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and anyone else who keeps pancake mix in the cupboard.

WARNING - READ ON. AND CHECK SNOPES TOO.

http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/pancake.asp

From Snopes: cause of death due to anaphylaxic shock reaction to molds. I recently made a batch of pancakes for my healthy 14-year-old son, using a mix that was in our pantry. He said that they tasted 'funny,' but ate them anyway. About 10 minutes later, he began having difficulty breathing and his lips began turning purple. I gave him his allergy pill, had him sit on the sofa and told him to relax. He was wheezing while inhaling and exhaling. My husband, a volunteer Firefighter and EMT, heated up some water, and we had my son lean over the water so the steam could clear his chest and sinuses. Soon, his breathing became more regular and his lips returned to a more normal color. We checked the date on the box of pancake mix and, to my dismay, found it was very outdated.

As a reference librarian at an academic institution, I have the ability to search through many research databases. I did just that, and found an article the next day that mentioned a 19-year-old male DYING after eating pancakes made with outdated mix. Apparently, the mold that forms in old pancake mix can be toxic! When we told our friends about my son's close call, we were surprised at the number of people who mentioned that they should check their own pancake mix since they don't use it often, or they had purchased it some time ago.

With so many people shopping at warehouse-type stores and buying large sizes of pancake mix, I hope your readers will take the time to check the expiration date on their boxes. Also, beware of outdated Bisquick, cake, brownie and cookie mixes.

decisions... decisions

I got the girls dressed today and they looked so cute, so I decided to snap a few pictures. Now I can't decide which one I like best.

They may just think I was crazy for dressing them alike, but it won't be long before I don't have much of a choice over what they wear. I gotta do it while I still can!
I love these sweet girls!

Super heros to the rescue!

I have been invaded by Superheros! This inspiration for tonight's adventure
Don't mess with this duo!

The super hero face
Apparently superheros are supposed to look grumpy....or constipated!
I am not sure why she had to pick those
She is looking BUFF!
I can't tell if she was going for muscles or Steve Erkle
Did someone call a superhero?"WORD UP!!"
(from word girl)
Again with the superhero face
"Are you talking to me?"A damsel in Distress!
Okay so she wasn't in distress, My bad.....is it hot in here?
Stop Evil doer!!!
All in a days work

Until next time citizens.......

She was seriously was cracking me up in that cape, I think she REALLY thought she was a superhero, she kept looking at me with this look...(see the superhero face) She was marching around the house like she was in charge and then she kept posing for pictures, I am surprised that she didn't ask if I wanted her autograph. I am not sure she even knows what a superhero is, but she definitely acted like she did!
