Better late than never

She turned 7 in the middle of April. And I did her pictures a while ago, I just haven't gotten them posted yet, So here they are! She is getting so old!!!

Easter, Babysitting and Womens Conference

Saileen Babysat for the first time on Saturday. I was there of course, but she was in charge of him. He is a good little guy and she was SOO excited she could hardly sleep the night before!

She pulled him around in the laundry basket filled with toys.

He was just having a grand old time!

She carried him around and even rocked him to sleep all by herself. She rocked him and sang lullabye and sure enough he fell right to sleep in her arms. She was so excited!

She is going to be a great babysitter as she gets older, I think she is deffinitly cut out for it!

My Sister and I went to Womens conference on Thursday. I love that we are best friends! We have a blast when we are together! This was on our way back to the car on a shuttle bus after getting rained on!

The Easter egg hunters were Ready to rock and roll!! And yes that is a gun in the back of my brothers jeans. Just in case you were wondering.

They found them all, then the boys re hid them and they found them all again!! So fun for them!! They had a great time!

Kenna is the big 5!!!!

5 years old....going on 15!!!

We ventured down to the Merina to snap some shots in a new dress she got for her birthday.

She is such a ham, she had to problem striking a pose when ever I asked!

This is usually the pose she would do. Any one who knows her, knows that this is totally her little attitude!!

She is getting so big!!! She loves to read and write notes to people.

She of course loves to dance. As many of you can attest.

She doesn't crave attention...not at all. ;P

This is her little model shot. Derek asked her for a serious face. I loved this in Black and white, although I kept her true blue eye color there.

Ahg!!! I am So Behind!!!

I am terribly sorry to all you who have been checking in to see what we have been up to. It has been a crazy few months...Including but not limited to Recitals, my moms 50th birthday, the holidays, which means 2 family reunions and a lot of photography work, my baby turned 1 and a new calling for me. I am now the Primary Secretary, for a brand new split ward. So That has taken much of my time and thats not to mention schooling and everyday life like dishes laundry and cooking. So I am going to try to do better and not leave all the out of town family out of the loop as to what we have been doing.

So I will be posting a few of the happenings around here and then I will be back on the band wagon!! So be patient, here goes!!

Derek put our chickens to a different use this fall. Yikes...not really my cup of teaThe girls had their Christmas recital. It was SO CUTE!!! Mylee even danced the whole thing on stage! I tried to get the rehersal video to work. It wouldn't, Sorry Karen!


Kenna got a new monkey stuffed animal for Christmas. As you can see, she LOVES it!! This is how I found her asleep one night, with her monkey hugging her and her favorite pony. I couldn't resist a picture. Sweet girl!

Okay, these.....ummm...Not sure what to say, just that He has an app on his phone that provided hours of entertainment.

The were laughing histarically...it was pretty funny

Again.....no explanation nessesary. I do think he looks like Simon Cowell in this one. ;P

At the cabin they had a zip line. Derek couln't resist. Even if it was FREEZING outside!

Tried to do a family one outside...didn't work out so well. But I thought this candid one was cute.

She turned one!!! I haven't yet done her 1 year pictures.

But I did manage to grab this one on her birthday.

After getting over the initial SHOCK of the price for car seats, I got online and bought one used and recovered it. This is a picture of it half way done. It was a grey fabric that was warn and a little bit snagged in places. I think it turned out pretty cute. Not bad for $30.

She really likes it. It also reclines, which I LOVE!!

My parents gave her a bubble machine for her birthday. She was pretty into it, as were her sisters. They have a blast with that thing!

Recently we went to a place called "Jump and bounce" The girls loved running and playing on everything. They are just getting so big!!
