imagine, if you will

Some people have a hard time imagining what I mean about the sheer volume of my girls hair. Here are a couple examples.

This is Saileen when she was about 18 months old. This is about when it became imperitive to have her hair done.
Kenna was blessed with even more hair, and an even younger age.

Granted this picture if after I took all the rubberbands out of their hair, but it is very similar to their hair before I do their hair.

A couple that I liked

For any of you who know me or my girls, probably already know that I like to have their hair done all the time. Not to be fancy, but because they have thick hair and a lot of it.
I did their hair a couple of days ago and it turned out really cute, thought I would share.

I was thinking about posting more styles and ways to do girls hair. If that is something that you guys would want to see, let me know.

What a stinker!

If I ever can't find her, I usually find her on top of something lately.
What.......What?
SHe was mad that she couldn't get off
She is way into this whole climbing thing. One I don't have pictured is when she tried to climb onto the toilet. I ran in there just as she slipped off, unfortunatly no time to snap a picture, but I am sure you can imagine.

Sad!

My little baby had an accident. She fell out of the car, face first onto the ground below.
This is the day it happened
This is the next day. It sortof looks like she got ahold of some lipstick and got confused as to where to apply it.

can't see me

The girls have a tradition, when Derek gets home, they hide and he finds them. Kenna was playing upstairs when He came home unexpectedly.

For lack of a better place to hide, this is where she decided was best,

in the short amount of time given.

If I can't see you, you can't see me....right?

Funny girl

Singin' and Dancin' in the RAIN!

Awe the smell of rain! Something I do miss from the northwest. Saileen couldn't help but use her fancy umbrella.

My sister loves playing in the rain!Alas, Mylee had to watch from inside.
Kenna would laugh when the drops would hit her. Then it really started to pour! But that not deter these two water bugs. She was wet and satisfied when she came in.

I remember!

The anniversary of such a historic event. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I hope our country never has to go through something like that again.

What an Iconic set of buildings they were then......and Now.
I remember seeing this plane hit the 2nd tower Live. I couldn't believe it!

Always remember!

A climber.....What!?!

Okay...none of my kids have been climbers up till now.
I came into the girls room yesterday to find this!

She was trying to get to the flowers. She does not get this from seeing her sisters do it. Because they are not climbers. They are actually pretty chicken when it comes to things like that. So she came up with this idea all on her own!
She was SO proud of herself, she had no problem smiling for the picture....little stinker!

Primary

My girls had a cough last week, We got all their dolls dressed in dresses. And had a little primay at home.

Here they are with all their dolls.
Saileen led the Opening sone and Kenna said the prayer.
MyLee palyed the piano for our songs.
Saileen did a little lesson. It was about folding you arms and closing your eyes during prayer.
I thing is was a successful little meeting. We had fun and learned a little something while we were at it.

In all fairness

Okay everyone, in all fairness, I figured you should see the other side of my kids genetics. And surprisingly, my kids look more like Derek than me, I think.

These ones are at 4 years old, and I have to say, they look a lot alike. definitely Same eyes and smile.

And again, I was really surprised that she looks SO MUCH like him. There were some other pictures as well that were almost identical to the faces she makes.

Lastly, this one is arguable.....but I am afraid that he takes the cake on this one as well. She looks more like him than me. So all in all I am 0 for 3. They definitely all got his ridiculously long eyelashes! Thank goodness!
~
I'll leave it up to you to decide. ;P

Oh I have to mention...haven't picture quality come a long way! The quality difference in the new pictures compared to the old pictures is amazing! Got to love technology!
