1st day of school!!

 First day of school already!!  Summer went too fast and now it's over .....sad :-(

Mylee is in the 1st grade, MyKenna in 2nd and Saileen in 4th!

Their cousin Belle goes to school with them!

Saileen saw some friends and didn't even look back!  She has missed her friends over the summer!!

Mylee was so excited to go to class!!  I know she will do so good!!

And then there were 2!!

Kaliah says after dropping the girls off " I really want to go back home so I can have all the toys for myself!"  And that is just what she did!  She kind of has a horse obsession if you can't tell!!

The house

Its coming along! there is mud and tape and texture and now tile!

 On another note there is color on the outside as well...about that....this is what it looks like,

It just looks a lot brighter that we thought it would.  So of those who will be seeing our house, yes it looks brighter that we thought, but that is the way it happened, we weren't crazy, it really didn't look that bright when we chose it. That being said, its growing on me. And on a positive note, my kids will never have a hard time finding our house!!  :-)

Another birthday!

After much waiting and counting down the days her birthday finally arrived!!  

The big 6 now!!

She got penguin stuffed animal and book (she LOVES Penguins! )and a mini pillow pet and a Barbie book and this dress i made for her, a watch and things from her sisters 

She is starting 1st grade this year and Very excited to be learning new things! She is a very determined little girl!  I have seen this side of her like when she was learning to ride a 2 wheeler and she gets that look in her eye and there is no stopping her!   

She has such beautiful dark brown eyes, thanks to Grammie!! 

She is very loving and happy!  She loves to be a helper! Unless it involves cleaning her room, in that case she is less than enthusiastic about it! 

She is still pretty shy, but I think she is just watching people ;-)

She LOVED this flower and wanted to have a picture with is and this is actually her favorite picture we took! 

This was also her idea to pose by this bush, do we have a budding photographer on our hands??  maybe?? 

She is such a sweet and kind little lady! I love her to pieces! I admire her determination and spirit! I can't wait to see what this new year brings for her!  Happy birthday MyLee!!

A baby of many faces

Here is a little kid with a BIG personality! He is a goof ball and he knows it!  He loves to make people laugh. My sister had her phone out and he kept making these goofy faces and she caught them! 

Raised eyebrows...must get that from his Grandpa!

He must have noticed her taking pictures.. It looks like he is saying "HEY!"

IF the eyes don' do it then he will give you the puckered lips...he is working it!

And if all that does not yield the desired result, ten he will be forced to use "The smolder"

Progress

We are a couple weeks into building! Here is what has been going on.

Concrete has been poured for the foundation

Then comes the garage floor

And the basement floor

Now the framing of it all!!!! this the floor and garage being framed!

Whats new around here??

It's summer, and we have been doing lots of bike riding and playing outside and now packing!

This is what I have been up to this week.....

We are moving again.  I can't believe it but we are excited about where we are headed.
But it doesn't make moving any more fun.

The girls find entertainment where they can among all the boxes 

We are moving along. The basement is pretty much boxed up

The 2 older girls and I moved all the storage buckets up.  It was hard and heavy but they were troopers and  helped  a lot!! It didn't hurt that they are competitive and we were racing to see who could get done with their stack first ;-)

Craft room is done...whew, that was a big one!

The girls have moved all their mattresses into one room and have been sleeping there.....it is like a mattress floor!

This the the other bed room with all their clothes....we will be homeless and staying with a friend for a couple months so they got a tote for clothes and a back pack for toys....the simple life ;-)

 We are SO excited about the new house!!
