First project

The time had come, we had looked and looked for a mud bench we liked....couldn't find one. So Derek decided to make one.  Here is the before picture
A mess, I know.....it was just a big pile of coats and back packs!
Part way though, its all assembled...only a few hiccups but they were remedied
And now with paint.....It turned out great!!!!  LOVE IT!!!!!

Start them young!!

We decided to take a little trip up the mountains and go shooting
Kenna called the ear plugs horns. It was a trick to get those ear plugs in their tiny little ears,
 but we were eventually victorious!!
First you gotta learn gun safety....
She was so excited to get a chance to shoot it!
I think is surprised her how much kick back it had.  She only wanted to shoot once.
This little lady was apprehensive about taking a turn,
but after getting over her nervousness she was all about it!!
She kept coming back for more, she took 3 or 4 turns.
Surprisingly, this one wasn't even nervous about it, she just did her thing!!
Jo didn't want to do it at all, but eventually agreed to just try once, which she did.
Then she was done and didn't want to do it again,
Here is my cute hubby loading the clip
He was trying to set his sights on the gun, which proved to be challenging.
I did take a couple turns and shot a few rounds as well,
I actually even hit the target a few times.  It was my first time shooting.  I think I would go again.
All in all, I think a good time was had by everyone.
Little man was sleeping most of the time in the van behind us.

Moral of this story...don't mess with my girls, because this is just the beginning of the training these girls will be getting before those dating years!!

This was a miracle of a day! A storm was coming in and we decided to still go for it and we PRAYED and PRAYED that the storm would change its direction or hold off until we were done and our prayers were answered and it started to sprinkle as soon as we were started to take the last picture and on the way home the DOWNPOUR came!!  It was truly a miracle that we didn't end up in the middle of the storm because we certainly should have been!!!

11 year Anniversary!!

For our anniversary we went to Park City, it was a lot of fun!!
It got cold one of they days, but we still had fun!!

Derek climbed to the top!  Wahoo!!

Dinner was Yummy!  Gourmet pizza!!

This ride was so AWESOME!!  It was my favorite, it was like a self controlled roller coaster!  SO much fun!!

Wind started, it got cold but we weren't deterred!
It was a great time and I had a lot of fun!  Thanks to my Mom and Sister for watching the girls so we could go!!
Happy Anniversary to My love and best friend!!

End of summer and beginning of Fall

With School started, we got pretty low key around the house.  Just waiting for our house to be finished,

Cell phone photo opps...
goofy faces
The younger 3 got Frenectomies...They got their upper lip clipped
and under their tongues. After the procedure Mylee says..."wow, there are bumpy things in the back of my mouth!" I guess she had never felt that far back before! Bia was REALLY tongue tied and so it was crazy for her to even be able to touch the roof of her mouth with her tongue!
We bought a square table and refinished it.....
we filled the grooves and repainted it all
while Daddy worked, we played in the yard and the girls put flowers in my hair. They are such girly girls!!
They tried to get BK to join in, as you can so, he wasn't amused
Girl pile on Daddy!!!
Getting up early wears these two out!!  They often fall asleep when we drive to pick up the girls!
Boo got her matching dress with her doll!!
Every morning the girls all hold hands while they walk, they look like little ducklings walking in a row!
This was my view from my neighborhood one morning.....breathtaking!
She lost another tooth!  She looks like a hockey player or something!  It;s amazing she can eat!!  Ha ha!
Waiting for the girls, we get creative...she loves to see himself on camera
He really is amused, he likes to make faces
Funny little boy!
He loves to stand and watch the birds fly around outside
Jojo is working on her braiding!
In the basement the girls had to share a bed.  This is how I found them one night, I guess Boo is as comfortable as a pillow!!  He he! Sisterly love!!
One morning while eating breakfast Bia says to me" I just tooted and it sounded like a camel!"  WHAT???
She is a crack up!!
Smash faces!
Hours of entertainment!
Again, waiting for the girls....just chillin'!
She has full control of the Ipod, she is one happy girl!
He is content to play with the key and try to put them in the ignition and push all my car buttons!
He never gets sick of it!
She dressed herself, that is all I can say!!
Too tired to lift the cup, so he brings his mouth to the cup instead of his cup to his mouth!
Climbing on the pumpkins at Grandmas house!!
I was really trying to block the stairs from him which made it his mission to get over them!
He had a poop issue and needed a bath and I couldn't resist taking a picture of his little self!
He looked like such a big boy!!
Derek ran a 5K for the girls school! We were so proud of him!
Then the girls ran their "fun run" Jojo is in the lower right of the picture and Kenna is on the lift side at the front and Saileen is just behind her
They did great and ran their best and all finished even though it was hard!!  Way to go girls!!!
Their cousins ran with them too!
On one of our little outings he saw this on the shelf and tried to get it down by himself, I helped him get it and he climbed right on and sat there with the happiest look on his face!!  HE LOVED IT!!
He also LOVES this puppy!
He carries it everywhere, even to take the girls to school, he has an iron grip on it!!!

We also FINALLY got to move into our new house!!! YEA!!!!  I am getting pictures taken, it is hard to keep a room clean long enough to actually take on but I am almost done!!
I will post them soon!!
