Temple Visit

After Stake conference today at the American Fork Tabernacle we went to the temple with Justin and His family and they snapped a few shots of us there.

Fun afternoon at the beautiful temple!!!

Outings lately

First off, MyKay plays this matching game and it takes pictures from the tablet.

I couldn't help but laugh when these pictures popped up of Derek.

We went to the Tulip Festival at thanksgiving point. The Kids had tons of fun looking at all the flowers.

Saileen loved these ones because they were orange!

Kaliah found some pink ones!!!

Kenna looked a long time for Blue ones. These look more purple in the picture. I would call them Indigo ;-)

You know you have been smelling flowers when you nose is yellow with flower pollen!

They had so many things to see! It was a fun outing!

2 days later we had this!!!!! TONS of snow!

So we had a few inside days....
And just like that, the weather was warm again.
We went hiking and exploring in the American Fork Canyon

The bugs did the coolest things to the wood there!

They all found a Walking stick and a hiking we went!

MyKay would catch a ride on Daddy when he go tired.

The girls and Derek Scaled a rock hill...they got pretty far up there! They slid all the way down on their behinds!

Did a little bit of tree climbing too! MyKay said this was a horsey tree

Saileen wanted badly to go climb a tree, so she did just that

Kaliah had fun climbing...then she heard about the horse tree

So she had to check it out!
It was a fun Saturday outside. It was good for the kids, especially Kenna who has been having a hard time not being worried about germs and such. She is working on it, and getting better. We have been working with her on not letting the worries about who touched what and what germs are on what handle. She is my child, I have the same thoughts and have worked for years to manage it. I feel bad she is having to deal with this, but I am confident that she will do great and be able to manage it. It gets better and better every day. It was good for her to get outside and get dirty and climb trees. It was good for everyone! Fresh air and time with the Family!

Our Friends are Moving!

We do a lot with our friends the Van Zwols. We have known them for about 10 years or so. We were in the same ward when we first moved to Utah. We have stayed friends over the years and our kids have grown close. They are moving across the lake. They will be about 45 minutes away, as opposed to 3 minutes away. We will still get together, but they are further away. They threw a party and they had a fun photo area. The kids had a blast being silly and taking pictures.
