13 years!!

We celebrated our 13 year anniversary on the 9th of August. 

We went with Darrin and Trish Simon to the the Airborne Gym. It was really fun. Except I nearly had a heart attack trying to conquer my fear of heights on the monkey bars. They had an American Ninja Worrier course. It was fun to watch Derek beat it. Darrin beat it as well. 

Derek injured his toe at some point in the evening and it looked yucky!!! 

The high bounce trampolines made these weird spots on my elbow where my elbow came down on the jumping mat. 

Dereks shoulders got it much worse.  He was doing tricks and he has the marks to prove it!

On the Friday after our Anniversary we went up to Park city and took some pictures and had dinner together.  I was glad to have an updated picture of us together!

The river had this old log going out to the middle area....it was perfect for this shot! Aside from thinking we were going to fall in at any second! ha ha!

 We had a great day together and we have had a great 13 years together!!!!

A new cabnet

My bathroom does not have enough storage....so we decided to do something about it!!!

The wall before, you can see all the stuff that has no place to go all over the counter!

Cut a hole and check for electrical!

Measure and build the cabinet part

Cut the hole bigger and cut the 2x4 to make room

Insert the shelves

Put in the wood backing

culk the edges and then paint

Add the door

Add all the stuff...and you are done!!

MyLee Jo turns 8!

This little miss is 8!!! 

She is a sweet tempered girl

She loves Ever After High and monster high dolls books and shows!

She has a very sweet spirit and is very wise spiritually. She often knows the answers for scripture study and she is right on point!

She loves her new Baptism dress!!! 

She loves to play with the older girls with whatever they are doing, but I often find her playing with Kaliah and Mykay as well!  The joy of being the middle child!

She is very excited to be baptized!!!

 Her baptism was very sweet! Grandpa Weekes spoke on the Holy Ghost and likened it to a cell phone.  She got baptized along with her friends Chloe Salle and Myka Pexton. Grammie and Grandpa came and Michelle and her family. We had a brunch at our house afterward. 

She finally did it!!

She finally lost a tooth!!!  She has been waiting and waiting and it finally happened!!  She was a rock star too! She told me she wanted it to be pulled and so I explained what was going to happen and she didn't even make a peep! She just laid there and I just pulled it out with only a little grunt from her! I can't believe what a trooper she is!! Way to go JO JO!!!!

4th of July!

This summer we got a pool! Its nothing fancy, but its big enough for them to actually play and it can be put away!! They have a lot of fin in it! 

On the 3rd we went over to the Rogers and watched them set off their fireworks! 

He was nervous to do the sparklers and touched the end after it burnt out, sad..
..but it fun to see him try it!!

The girls wanted to "camp" and this is as close as it got!! 

They stayed up and watched movies and had a great time!!

The kids love to climb on and wrestle Daddy. He is such a good dad!

Chillin' on our comfy couch downstairs...its heavenly!!

On the 4th of July we set up the slip n slide and pool and had a great time!
 It was perfect weather for it as well!!

We had music playing from the window and we just hung out and played in the water. Derek was a dare devil on the Slip n slide! It was fun to watch!
The neighbor boys came over and joined the fun too! 

I had to throw this picture in, these 2 wanted to be twinners! I love when they love to be like each other and play together! Sisterly love!! 

Activity days Fashion Show

Kenna and Saileen get to go to Activity days. This week they did a modest fashion show. 

They loved picking outfits to bring!
