So My 3 year old decided the other day that she was her Sisters boss.(who is almost 2) She had told us a couple of times that she wants to get bigger so she can be her sisters boss. We go through this "boss" thing occasionally, so I decided to try something different. So I said. "okay, if you want to be the boss, than you need to help take care of her. " So for the next half hour or so, if she needed something we would say, okay you get to pick up her toys, get her a drink, ect.
Then the kicker. My 2 year old needed to go potty. So we sent My oldest to get the job done. She said "come on, lets go Potty!" But as only a 2 year old can she ran and said "No!"
(I was watching from the top of the stairs the whole time, getting quite a kick out of it) So after chasing her around, trying to get a hold of her...unsuccessfully...She started crying. I asked her what the matter was and she said "She won't come with me to go potty!" So then the teaching moment arrives I said "It's not that easy being the boss, is it?" She said "No" I asked her "Are you done being her boss?" She said "yes." Mission accomplished. For now She has no desire to be "The BOSS"

Such a cute story... sounds like fun. I'm excited to have my next one so close in age to Ellie and have those funny stories to tell.
That's a great story! She will love to hear all about that when she is older! You have such adorable girls, Krissy. I especially love your slideshow...and the pictures of your daughter (is she your youngest?) with her hair sticking up everywhere. So cute!
The one with her hair sticking up everywhere is my Second. My youngest just turned 6 months old!! I can't believe it has been 6 months already!
Ha! I can't wait until Belle starts that with Lily! How funny!
