Joining 27 other states in calling for 1-man-1-woman limits

This is a great day for marriage. The people of California stood up for traditional marriage and reclaimed this great institution. We are gratified that voters chose to protect traditional marriage and to enshrine its importance in the state constitution.

Arizona
For the second time in two years, Arizonans was asked to change the state Constitution to define marriage as a union of one man and one woman

Florida

After a fierce battle waged on TV airwaves, Amendment 2 was poised to comfortably clear the 60 percent threshold to become law, according to unofficial election results with most precincts reporting late Tuesday night. It defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

With most precincts reporting, the proposal

won 62.1% of the vote, to 37.9 % opposed, according to state officials.

i know i am so excited i posted something about proposition 8 on my blog a while ago and got a not so friendly email from my uncle who is gay...but hey...what can i say...a marriage just aint a marriage with out a gal and a guy in it!!!
