We took a walk down to Steve and Darlene's house and Steve taught the kids about his service in Vietnam.

| What amazing stories he told them of faith and prayer and the blessing of the Temple. He almost died in a bombing that hit his tent, while he was serving int he medical tend, it killed the man who's bed was next to his and scattered his stuff all over. It shook him up pretty badly and he prayed for peace and the spirit told him his parents were praying for him in the temple and he would be safe and return home unharmed. And sure enough, they were in the temple praying and he did return home unharmed! |
