The most wonderful time of the year!!

Everyone had a blast and it pretty much ROCKED!!! 

Saileen and I went Roller Skating.

It was really fun! 

We took Shayd with us, it was his birthday that day. So we let him come too! 

They were hilarious and falling all over the place. They even used these for a time which actually helped. I had forgotten how much fun skating was. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was a blast! 

Saileen got a selfie stick from Kenna for Christmas....We let them open sibling gifts early!

Ready to put on the Roller Blades and see if we still got the skill! 

We went Roller Skating for my Birthday and went out to lunch and spent the whole day together! 

We went out to eat at "the Gardens" In the Joseph Smith Memorial building. You could see Angel Moroni right out the window. It was awesome!!!!

We also went to the "Savior of the World" play that night too. 

We went with our good friends Darrin and Trisha Simon. 

Playing with his Train, the same on his Daddy played with as a boy.

This is his friend "Fuzz ball" He is an actual character in his games. I wonder why I spend money on toys when a little fun ball will entertain him for hours!!! 

When Dad watches something....everyone has to try and see too!

Time to Paint!!

Which had it's own set of issues. It was spraying paint everywhere! 

Then he put them out on the paper to dry......

And the paper stuck to the bottom of the boxes and was a stuck on black mess! 

Ripping the paper up and he was SO MAD. Beside himself as to what to do. 

There was just black stuff everywhere on the bottoms. 

Turns out some soap and water got the black stuff off....but then the paint gun was out of the question. So now we have to hand paint....all.....of.....these! 

Derek and I worked together until about Midnight and he went to bed and I kept going and decided I would just finish them. It was after 3 a.m. when I finally finished. 

Now it's time for the Hardware. 

The latch in front has its own set of "keys" to keep it shut.

We then painted their initials their favorite color. That was a task in and of itself! 

Christmas is set out! 

With the boxes, we will hide them and bring them out last of Christmas morning!

Christmas morning with their new dresses! They then went to church for an hour before we came home and opened the other gifts! 

That's when the Christmas bomb goes off! 

The girls LOVED their boxes!!!

They were so surprised and so grateful! 

Bk got lots of Super hero stuff, and Rescue bots and trains and all kinds of fun boy stuff! 

He got Captain American and Iron Man talking guys 

He also got this tool set from my Parents.
He says he is like a Dad now because he has his own tools.

The girls and their boxes took up most of the room for most of the day! 

The finished command center on the wall! It's awesome! 

My Mom bought me ALL the Poldark books..I am so excited to read them! 

I surprised Derek with a VORN knife which he was not expecting! He got lots of other things too, clothes, camping stuff, dress clothes, shoes....I really did good on him this year! But this on by far got the best reaction! 

And when the kids want to make playdough....and leave the kitchen a DISASTER!!! 

Guilty as charged!!! Best be cleaning this up right quick!!! 

I wish I could stop time and keep him little forever! 

I will miss these soft little cheeks.

2016 Was a great year! Lots of fun trips and memories made! Lots of fun and progress! I am hoping the 2017 is as good, if not BETTER!!!! Lots of fun things in store!!!
