February.....covered in snow

 February, the year is trekking forward! It is still cold. I fear it may be cold forever! In my logical mind, I know it won't but at this moment in time, it feels like winter will never end!

Maybe wearing shades will trick the weather into thinking it should be warmer!?! Yes, No?!?!

I slices my finger open! HURT like a bugger!!!!!  I was opening the oven drawer and it was stuck, so I was trying to work the pans out to get it open and the side of drawer is apparently very sharp!  

AAAAAAAAND its snowing AGAIN!!!

Went to REFIT on Tuesday night and came out to this! My car was covered in snow!!!

I could barely get the door open and this was the good side of the car! 

Got home, could't get up the driveway........

The snow was deep....Derek was out of town. So I get to shovel it to try to get up the driveway. 

It was midnight, I was out there all by myself shoveling. I got in the car and tried to drive up....slid back down. Shoveled again and tried to get up again because it was still snowing and by the time I was finished, there was snow on the tracks again......finally after shoveling again and hurrying to my car, I finally made it up!! 

I had to cancel REFIT because at 8:00 a.m. the roads still looked like this and I was not about to shovel the driveway AGAIN!!!  

My neighbor posted this.....it was almost 8 inches of snow we got! 

This guy and his Cream of Wheat! He loves it! He gets his sisters to make it for him and he will eat a huge bowl of it!
He puts blueberries in it and just chows down on it!

The Young women's in excellence program had the three older girls  

They each had a part to play

The theme was traffic signs and such. They made cardboard cars for each value

Saileen was recognized for her earning of her Young Woman's Personal Progress medallion. 

I got a new hat...It stands for Stay Kind, Stay Unique and Stay YOU!

They did Paint Nite at Young Womens'. They really enjoyed it.

MyLee got a haircut. I cut it to just below the middle of her back. This is how long it was before.

Kenna hit her shoulder in Derek's Car, It was a nasty ole bruise.

Derek went to St. George for his Gold Trip. It was pretty cold.

 We are still up to our ears in snow, hopefully spring is on the way! Snow is Great for the Snow Pack, bad for Moral! 

We are survivors, and we will not go down without a fight!!!
