July summer adventures

July still with everything means you get creative on how to live life and do the things you want to do in a safe way. That is what we are trying to do.

It's a good thing that braces are worth it in the end...getting there is not so fun sometimes!
A new trend maybe??

Saileen practicing hair styles on her mannequin

Selfie! Ha ha

We went on a trip to Idaho

Jo is a butterfly whisperer

It stayed on her finger for quite some time

So cool!

The kids took lots of pictures with their phones. This was one of them

And this one too

Doing pictures is a fun part of being in a new place! New scenery!

It was HOT so we hid under the umbrellas a lot

Harry Potter glasses were a thing for a while! ha ha

Lots of bike riding on the dirt trail

Walking and biking....walking and biking

More walking....more biking

Hiding from the sun

Family bike rides

The sunsets there were so pretty!

The whole area was pretty

Dad taking them on a walk

through the corn fields

Another walk on a different day

Seeing what there is to see
Seeing if the corn is a good place to take a nap!

I wonder if they sang as they walked?!?!

Fields for miles

and smiles for miles

I think they walked every square inch of the field

Learning a trendy dance

S'mores

Roasted mallows and the favorite

if it doesn't get all over the place..it doesn't belong in your face

dinner over the fire

chowin down!

aaaaaand more walking

Sibling chain

and the boy has had enough and must run ahead

This girl loved the biking!

We made it happen and hopefully they made some good memories while we were here.

He did not like the bumpy road out of there....her had the cat in a head lock and was securely by my side.

The cat was a big help. Ha ha

What's summer without a few sunburns

We have got the wild hair to re-do the kitchen and table and chairs

It's quite a process of cleaning and taking everything apart

You never realize how dirty things get....

Cutting the pieces to recover them

It's taking over the house!

Jo jo was my helper!

She even used the staple gun

It did a number on my hand working with all that rough fabric and pulling the old stuff off and pulling the new fabric tight to staple it on.

The table is going to be pretty

using a wood paneling and going around in a circle

It's coming together!

We sprayed the chairs outside, for our sanity....instead of trying to hand paint them.

Looks good!

We have our chairs back!

Looks much better!

It's feels completely different when the chairs are white!

I love how it turned out!

The kitchen is still amazing!

So worth it!

Looks so cool!

Baseball is the sport this year!

Warming up to go up to bat!

Sitting on the sidelines watching the game

MyLee's 13th birthday!

Barbie stuff is the name of the game

She was very happy about what she got!

Barbie stuff, clothes and more barnie stuff!

Dessert time! Peach cobbler!!

Decided to customize some shoes!
and fix a scratch from our trip with a Gryffindor sticker on Saileen's bike

Sunsets in the summer are awesome

Visiting with cousins social distance style

Last baseball game.

He did great! He got natural talent award!

Dad and son....proud moment!

Self care mud mask! ha ha!

And Mandalorian had been at our house lately....keeping an eye on things

Kenna making a character out of the strings on her pants.....first raisins....not this! ha ha
