A cool project

So when I started, I had a board similar to this one. My sister in law re-covered a cork board, so I got a wild hair that maybe I could do something similar.

After 2 days I finished. It was pretty cool. Derek Drilled 2 holes in the back where the buttons go and I threaded it through and put the button on. after I stuffed it cotton.

Here it is after I put everything back on it. It's not without flaws but I think overall it turned out pretty good. Definitly a lot cuter than a big white board in their room before.

I am happy with how it turned out. I love it when a project works. It makes me feel...dare I say....crafty!!

My nephew, the Superhero!

My Nephew Maison turned 4 today. We took his pictures this morning and I decided to suprise him with this picture in poster size for his bedroom. He was so cute when he saw it he said, "hey that's me, that's me with Superman! I'm Flying with Superman!" Thanks to my brother, we pulled it off, and got it printed in time. We totally suprised Breanne, She was so excited about it. I had fun putting it together, and Maison's response made it all worth it.
Happy Birthday Maison!!

A few more

Here are a few more from MyLee's photo shoot. I can't even decide which one I like the best!
This one is so cute and she even crossed her feet all on her own.
The princess has arrived.
I like this one too. Such a sweet look on her face.

She thought she was tricky reaching for a toy in this one.
Classic blank stare.....I think she was thinking "Are you done yet?"
Such a innocent look...but looks can be deciving!
SHe was vey proud that she climbed the ladder all by herself.

Big Brown eyes like her Daddy.

My precious little baby, Happy Birthday MyLee!

A year already!!

My Baby is turning one on Saturday! I can't believe it has already been a year!!

She is such a sweet baby! When I was looking at the pictures we did of her, I couldn't choose just one, each expresion was so cute, I had to use more than one. I will post some of her others later. She is such a big girl now, she sleeps in a toddler bed now and she loves it!

They just grow up so fast!

Problem Solved!

Kenna has allergies, so one morning at breakfast, she was sneezing and her nose was running, so I sent her upstairs to get a tissue, While she was up there, I suspect, that she was coming up with a solution to the problem all on her own. She came down the stairs so proud of herself, I couldn't stop laughing, I couldn't resist taking a picture.
Problem Solved!

We had a family reunion this weekend, it was fun to see everyone again. It had been like a million years or something like that. There was good food, good people and it turned out to be a great time. Lots a boating and 4 wheeling was going on but most of us were just sitting around talking.

That one in the middle...that is her, My Grandma, she is the one responsable for all these crazy people! On either side of her are her daughters, my aunts, Diana and Arlaine.
Here is my cute hubby after her hurt his arm.....Bummer!

My cute sister! Me with my little neice, she is a doll, Love you!

My Mom with the babies!
My youngest Brother Ethan!

My oldest brother, Shane and his family...aren't they cute!
Justin's wife, Breanne and their baby
My neice again, but if you look closely, that is my daughter behind her teasing her.
This is my Dad, in his cool hat!

Cousins and best pals!

I think my Mom can fit 1 or maybe even 2 more kids on her lap, what do you think!

Celeste and her cute little lilly!

Natures Beauty!

After it rained the other day, we looked outside and saw this HUGE RAINBOW! It was so pretty. I couldn't help but take a picture. I thought you would all like to see.

Fathers day in Idaho

We took a little trip to Idaho last weekend. It was a nice trip. We all had fun and enjoyed our time at Grammy's house.

Grammy's slide is super fast, they went flying off the end more than once!

Everyone piled in the wagon for a little walk. They were pretty sqished in there!

Derek Tried to get Saileen to go on a tractor ride, she was excited, until she got inside. The picture speaks for itself, she SCREAMED the whole time. I guess it was scarier that she expected.

By the time we left, there were a few less bushes and a few more memories. It was a great weekend.

A wonderful FATHER!

Fathers day is just around the corner. I have been thinking about all the things makes Derek such a great Father.

We are so blessed to have him in our lives. My girls LOVE their Daddy!

He plays with them and isn't afraid to laugh be silly with them.
They know he loves them, and he isn't afraid to show it, which I am really grateful for. I love how he spends time just being with them.

He makes them feel important when they want to show him every picture they draw and every dress they try on and every dance move they make up.
He is patient and kind and I appreciate everything he does for us.

I could go on and on, but when it comes right down to it, he is a great Dad and I Love him so very much.
Happy Fathers Day Derek!!
