Fancy lady

So I must be getting old, I don't feel old...but if this little lady is 7 already, I must be!!

She is a little smarty pants, and loves reading Cam Jansen book!

She loves Barbies and playing with her favorite doll Olivia!

This is her Serious face.....don't be fooled, she is a ham!! 
 Especially when she sings "opera" while in the bathroom!

She is such a sweetheart, she loves to "snuggle" 

She is such a big helper and a very hard worker!

I know I say this about all my kids, (rightfully so!) but I just love this kid so much!!!
As I do all my kids!  I love my kids and I love being a mom, good times and bad, these little people are my world and I love them to pieces!!!

We had another rash show up, who know what it was this time. I had one cranky baby for a whole week!!!

He would scream if i wasn't holding him.  needless to say, I got nothing done!!

Ok, I did get something done, I made this dress out of an old shirt and a scrap fabric I had.

She loves her "princess dress" Then I made 3 more and 3 doll  ones for my other girls.  I should know not to do a project unless I want to make 4 of them!  Can't leave anyone out!!!

Once he was feeling better, he was back to actually taking a nap...he didn't hardly sleep at all the whole week.  Naps or anything!!  But the other day this is how I found him.....at least he was comfortable!

Amid the toys, he chooses to play with the air intake vent!  He is playing it like a guitar, maybe we have a musician on our hands!

And now that he is crawling, he has discovered light sockets!!  oh joy, time to baby proof everything!!

On the move!

He is on the move now, better late than never! There is no stopping him now!

Chopped!

He had his 3rd haircut , I think his hair grows faster than my girls!!

It seems like I cut a lot off!

But it needed to be done!! His hair has some curl in it and
when it gets longs it starts sticking out everywhere, especially after his naps!

I did 3 hair cuts that night, I was COVERED in hair, as was the bathroom! 

One of those haircuts was my oldest! Her hair was almost to her waist. She wanted it short, We compromised in the middle but still took quite a bit off!  And she has bangs!  She has wanted them for a while, and so I finally gave in. They are really cute on her.  I would take a picture, but her hair is all windblown right now from being at school, so I will get a picture after her hair is clean again. ;)

And also as of recently he is moving and starting to crawl...oh joy! 

happining stuff

The new year started off great with croup and a trip to urgency care for this little lady.

This one cracks me up because we had made them a deal and they had to deliberate about their options before making a decision. They crack me up!

All kinds of sweetness....over the holiday break we rearranged rooms with the girls and little man did not want to be put down for a nap.  So I gave Saileen the charge to get him to take a nap.  And she ended up taking one too!!

He fell asleep like this, I am not sure why or how the pillow ended up on his head, but he slept like that for a while before he realized it was there. Gave me a good laugh.  Ya think he was a little bit tired??

We got a new van.  It was a long process, but we found one that fit our criteria. Derek had to get a car too...when it rains, it pours I guess.  But we are finally done with car buying for another 10 years at least, I hope!

This one comes with a story...This little stinker thought  it would be fun to do "make-up" her tool of choice was a pen!! So she drew some nice eye shadow on herself and Kenna.

Kenna was devastated that I was going to have to scrub it off, and even more so upset that Derek was going to laugh at her when he got home. She went in the bathroom and was talking/crying to herself saying "Why did you do this to me Boo??  You said it would be fun! Now Dad is going to laugh at me! I am not going to show my face when he gets home!" she was going on and on.  I was laughing so hard I was crying!  I could hear the whole conversation (with herself) from the front room and I was dying laughing!  She scrubbed it all off herself and was very proud to have a clean face when Derek got home!  But he still had a good laugh at the picture! 

My little man loves food!!! he loves the little snacks and teething biscuits, but also, among his favorites are applesauce, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, spaghetti, cream of wheat, oatmeal and pretty much everything else he has tried.  We only bought 5 jars of baby food before he wanted the real deal food. He loves to eat when we are eating.   He is getting so big!!!

So that is a little of what has been happening around here! 

My Babies

It has been a while, things have been crazy.  But in the midst of it all my baby girl turned 3 today!!

Love this girl! Sometimes she makes me crazy..but I love her so very much!  

This is her most favorite toy...her "poofy sleeping beauty"  She carries it around all day!

 Then there is this little man....He is just so darn cute, I just can't stand it!!!

He is 7 months old.  Not crawling, no teeth and still not sleeping through the night. But it's OK  He will get big soon enough, for now, I am enjoying him being my baby.  

 Life is good, we are just getting back to real life after the holidays. 

 I hope to catch up here soon.
