A baby of many faces

Here is a little kid with a BIG personality! He is a goof ball and he knows it!  He loves to make people laugh. My sister had her phone out and he kept making these goofy faces and she caught them! 

Raised eyebrows...must get that from his Grandpa!

He must have noticed her taking pictures.. It looks like he is saying "HEY!"

Such sad little puppy dog eyes!

IF the eyes don' do it then he will give you the puckered lips...he is working it!

And if all that does not yield the desired result, ten he will be forced to use "The smolder"
Desperate times call for desperate measures! And throw in a tongue sticking out for good measure ;-)

Progress

We are a couple weeks into building! Here is what has been going on.

Concrete has been poured for the foundation

Then comes the garage floor

And the basement floor

Now the framing of it all!!!! this the floor and garage being framed!

Whats new around here??

It's summer, and we have been doing lots of bike riding and playing outside and now packing!

This is what I have been up to this week.....

We are moving again.  I can't believe it but we are excited about where we are headed.
But it doesn't make moving any more fun.

The girls find entertainment where they can among all the boxes 

We are moving along. The basement is pretty much boxed up

The 2 older girls and I moved all the storage buckets up.  It was hard and heavy but they were troopers and  helped  a lot!! It didn't hurt that they are competitive and we were racing to see who could get done with their stack first ;-)

Craft room is done...whew, that was a big one!

The girls have moved all their mattresses into one room and have been sleeping there.....it is like a mattress floor!

This the the other bed room with all their clothes....we will be homeless and staying with a friend for a couple months so they got a tote for clothes and a back pack for toys....the simple life ;-)

 We are SO excited about the new house!!

Summer fun

Summer time  is in full swing!

Saileen at her end of the year talent show.  She chose to display some art.

The little neighbor girl had a little puppy and to my shock and amazement, the girls held it!!

And the liked it!!

Now they want to get a puppy....ummm...not so much !!

Milo still has more hair and is taller than Mykay but they are so much a like is a  lot of ways.  It is fun to see them together!

We made home made marshmallow, and then made s'mores and boy was it yummy!!

They were delicious and we will definitely be doing them again!!

The other night Kailah started crying in the night and I went to check on her and she said she bunked her head and so I helped her get back into bed and when she woke up in the morning I found this.....rough night for her I guess :-(

He found a bat at my moms and would not let it go even to crawl!

Then he found a ball!! He was a happy camper!

Then my most recent project was Mylees match  birthday dress for her and her doll.  One more done!  As I finished Kaliah said, "can I have one like that for my birthday?"  So looks like I will be doing another one in January!

1 year!!

My boy is 1!!

I just love this little man to pieces!!!

He is such a sweet little boy and loves to give hugs and snuggle

He is starting to walk...he took 13 steps the other day and was SOO proud of himself!

He loves to point and hold out his hand as if to say "give me that ...that I am pointing at"

He loves tools of any kind, if there is a hammer or screwdriver
 within his reach he will do whatever it takes to get it.

I just love his sweet little face and those eyes get me every time!

During out little photo shoot there was this bird outside the window and
 it was seriously  like inches from us just watching us!

I couldn't resist a hat ;-)

and he just stood there and watched intently for the longest time!

He loved just standing there watching it. It would hop around and
 eat bugs and fly around and then come back to the window to stare us down.

I took these today on his actual birthday, I love his laughing face.  Such a little goof ball!!

Its my birthday and I'll cry if I want to!!
