Mykay is 18 months old!

I can't believe he is growing so fast!!!
He is such a sweet little boy!
He LOVES dogs (pictures, toys, real ones he sees outside..anything!) and tools and balls and cars!!
Pretty typical boy!! He also loves to try to do a somersault but rarely gets past his head being on the ground and his bum sticking in the air!
Watch out ladies, he is a charmer!!  Ready to give kisses!
He loves to snuggle and totes his blankets around the house all the time...sometimes 3 or 4 at a time!!
He is a pro at climbing on the table and must be able to see when food is being prepared! He is usually the first one eating and the last one done.....he can out eat his sisters already!!
He can say Mama, Dada, Jesus, Love you
He like to imitate the sounds for dogs, horses, bears/lions, cars driving and explosions
He LOVES to give high fives and knuckles!!
He uses his sign language for more, food, milk, please and all done
One of his favorite things is to push the garage door button when we leave or come home!  Any thing with buttons keeps him entertained for hours!  Especially the Xbox, computer keyboards and TV remotes!!
He has recently started sticking his fingers in his ears...maybe he is looking for some peace and quiet from all the craziness around here!!

I love this boy to piece and can't imagine my life without him!!  He brings so much laughter and joy to our home! He is such a sweet and kind boy, and a good sleeper!!  YAY!!
Love my squishy, snugly, handsome, little boy!!

November

The girls school opened their "space simulator"
they have gotten to go in a few times and do "missions" they love going there!!
I turn by back for 2 seconds and this is what I find!
He has figured out how to get on the table!! NOOOO!!!
The washing machine provides great entertainment
Sweet little tuckered out boy!!
And my little Bia bug, won't let me do anything with her hair these days.
This is usually what she looks like, unless I can get her to let me put it in a pony tale or something, which takes A LOT of bribery!!!!!!!
When we visit the store, this is their favorite place to go see!!
Kaliah is ALWAYS asking if we can go see the horses.
They sat here and played for like 20 minutes before I had to literally pull them away!
I guess he got in a little fight with his Woody doll from Toy Story...you should see the other guy!
My Mom threw the "Speakman" family party this year. It was fun!
I totally stole these pictures from my cousin!  I was lame and forgot to take any!!
So thanks Jess!!!
Playing games with the kids!
My Mom was like super woman, She kept those kids busy!!!
Lots of kids!!!
It was a birthday party for my Grandma Speakman!
We sang happy birthday and then we ate pizza and the kids played party games and we watched Grandmas life video at the and.  I miss my grandparents!! But from what I hear, they were there ;-)

Saileen and I went to see a production of "The Nutcracker"  We went with good friends of ours!
This is Saileen and her best friend Emilia!
Jessica and I definitely enjoyed the outing as well!!
Santa was in attendance as well, I guess he got done with his to do list early this year!
I was able to catch a few pictures, this is near the end with the cast all on stage
The girl in the black and red was one of Saileen's favorites

Can't forget to get a picture with the evil mouse!
It was fun and we had a good time with our friends!!!
I got home to find this...Got enough blankets there?!!? I think 4 is more than sufficient! Ha ha
Getting excited for Christmas!!!!
The snow started yesterday and it really feels like Christmas!!
I can' wait!!!!

First project

The time had come, we had looked and looked for a mud bench we liked....couldn't find one. So Derek decided to make one.  Here is the before picture
A mess, I know.....it was just a big pile of coats and back packs!
Part way though, its all assembled...only a few hiccups but they were remedied
And now with paint.....It turned out great!!!!  LOVE IT!!!!!

Start them young!!

We decided to take a little trip up the mountains and go shooting
Kenna called the ear plugs horns. It was a trick to get those ear plugs in their tiny little ears,
 but we were eventually victorious!!
First you gotta learn gun safety....
She was so excited to get a chance to shoot it!
I think is surprised her how much kick back it had.  She only wanted to shoot once.
This little lady was apprehensive about taking a turn,
but after getting over her nervousness she was all about it!!
She kept coming back for more, she took 3 or 4 turns.
Surprisingly, this one wasn't even nervous about it, she just did her thing!!
Jo didn't want to do it at all, but eventually agreed to just try once, which she did.
Then she was done and didn't want to do it again,
Here is my cute hubby loading the clip
He was trying to set his sights on the gun, which proved to be challenging.
I did take a couple turns and shot a few rounds as well,
I actually even hit the target a few times.  It was my first time shooting.  I think I would go again.
All in all, I think a good time was had by everyone.
Little man was sleeping most of the time in the van behind us.

Moral of this story...don't mess with my girls, because this is just the beginning of the training these girls will be getting before those dating years!!

The Cousins!! We haven't been able to get one of these for years, but this year we DID IT!!!

This was a miracle of a day! A storm was coming in and we decided to still go for it and we PRAYED and PRAYED that the storm would change its direction or hold off until we were done and our prayers were answered and it started to sprinkle as soon as we were started to take the last picture and on the way home the DOWNPOUR came!!  It was truly a miracle that we didn't end up in the middle of the storm because we certainly should have been!!!
