a milestone!

So this is HUGE for my kids

For any of you who know my kids, you would know that they are not fond of animals, even cats and dogs.
So a friend of the family had some puppies at their house and my kids actually held one and weren't screaming.
It took a little bit of time for them to warm up to it, but by the end Saileen was saying, "I think this puppy loves me, it wants to stay at my house." (Yea right!)
So the pictures are proof that this really happened! It wasn't just a dream!

Even MyLee got in on the action.

A new doo!

So I was tired of my hair, so I got it cut....and I colored it back to my natural color. I like it. So I thought I would share pictures of my new doo!

I know they are not the best pictures, but you get the point! ;)

New Discovery

Mylee figured out how to walk with a walking toy! She is growing up so fast! I can't believe she is almost 1! I bet she is just tring to walk to keep up with the other girls. Ready set go!!

Fat Free Sugar cookies

We made some fat free sugar cookies today. It was quite an adventure. Saileen helped put the frosting on and Kenna licked all the frosting off of her cookies. I am reall y happy about how these cookies turn out, pretty much every time. We LOVE SUGAR COOKIES!!

The frosting is the only thing that has butter in it. I personally prefer them without frosting. They are great both ways!

Their new SET OF WHEELS!!

So the girls and I made a car out of a cardboard box today, it was a lot of fun.

I know this one is blurry, but it was cute anyway....

It is quite the ride, not to mention it gets great gas milage,

It has amazing 10 inch wheels and has the coolest rims on the block.

Comes complete with a spoiler and all the 'extras'

and great leg room, for those really long road trips.

Perfect for the Princess possy that cruise around these parts.

One more great resource

Here is a site I found that gives a run down of all the brands and their safety. Check it out if you have questions about the saftey of your bottles.

BPA and baby bottles

I don't know how many of you are affected by the baby bottle problem that has been on the news lately. I have been doing some research to figure out what I am going to do and what bottles, sippy cups and pacifiers are safe.

I found a link to a list of a lot of "safe" ones for now.

http://safemama.com/2007/11/22/bpa-free-bottle-and-sippy-cup-cheat-sheet/

in the upper left corner is has a link to the safe pacifiers and teethers.

Also, not on their list is the cheap parents choice bottles, like these nuby and evenflo ones which are also safe.

I have sadly found out that the binkies and bottles we are currently using are not on the safe list, so off to the store we go to get some new bottles for her last 3 months.

Good luck, let me know if you have any more info in it. THANKS!!

The studio is almost done!

So after the ground thawed out, we finally got to pour the concrete for our studio! It looks really good. I am very impressed with how it turned out.
Derek did this stamping on the concrete, along the edges. It looks really good. And best of all, it is really close to being done! Only a few minor things , like gutters, are left to be finished.
