Not a baby anymore!

My Little Mylee turned 2 last week!
My oldest informed me... she Doesn't have a bottle, or a binki, she doesn't wear daiper or sleep in a crib, she is really a big girl!
And that she is, she is talking more and more, she loves to copy everything the older girls do, she is just a little lady now.
She is just as girly as the other girls are...Suprise suprise. She is often found wearing a tutu, or 2!

She has such a big personality for being so little! She also likes to think she is the boss, but is quickly informed otherwise from those bigger than her.

She and Kenna run around together and get into quite a bit of trouble. Those 2 are double trouble together. Kenna was much more well behaved when she wasn't the one coming up with all the ideas!

I do love that she is still a snugle bug though.
I love watching the girls dance, I love to see how they move and feel the music.
I wouldn't doubt if we have another ballarina on our hands!
What a sweet little face and what a happy girl!! Who could ask for more!!
Even though she isn't a baby anymore, it is fun to watch her grow up and interact with the world around her. I sometime think that I have seen the "fun stage" of my kids but they keep getting more and more fun the older they get! I love spending my days with my kids!
Happy Birthday Mylee!

The 4th of july in Idaho

On our way
They were bored after about an hour in the car....
after about a million potty stops we finally got there
Chillin' with he cousins
She was a little worn out
Loving Grammies toys!
a quick picture with great grandpa
She has gotten really good at swinging herself high

Coloring with Grandpa

The white elk at bear world

They loved seeing all the animals

Kiddie sized Carnival rides

Derek Took on the car ride that bobbed them up and down the whole time

We watched as boo went on the spiny ride

The said "spiny ride"

A new baby fawn

A hairy pig

The deer in the petting zoo
Me and my little bear cubs
This bear got really close to the car
We found the matching bear to the toy she picked in the toy shop
a souvenir from bear world
This huge bug decided to hitch a ride home with us. Too bad he didn't survive the trip.

We got a flat on the trailer...while I was driving....it delayed us, but we eventually made it home!

I thought this was too cute! The girls wathed it over and over.

It is quite an upgrade from the old dancing baby video.

I heard it through.....the grape vine!!

We finally got our grape vines on the grape arbor.

They are a little out of control!! I am excited to eat the grapes!!!

The ropes course

My family had a family night at Clas Ropes course. It was really fun. They had a lot of different activities and even Saileen got in on the activities.

Mylee liked the helmets!

Derek climbed the roock wall...
The girls were all so proud they ran to hug him as he came down.

She was a little bit excited to be there
It was a little bit windy at first, so they stayed bundeled up for a while

This is the coolest swing, it pulls you up about 30 foot or so in the air and then you have to let go. Their faces were priceless!!!

The zipline was Saileen's favorite.
She told me afterward that she felt like Diego going to rescue an animal.

She was so proud of herself

Saileen even tried the swing. She is getting to be quite brave lately.

It was a really fun place. We will definitly be going back again.

The girls dance recital

There are 2 different dances in this clip, the first is thumbelina, Saileen and Kenna are on the left until they do the ring around the rosie part then kenna comes back one spot to the right.

The second dance is Saileen's dance she is the furthest to the left.

There is one part where all the girls line up in 2 lines on the left of the stage then it seems like they all get confused. The little girl wandering around is supposed to go underneath the arch they made, but she dosen't go through and it throws all the other little girls for a loop. Saileen was so confused as to why she didn't do it right. She is my little perfectionist, what can I say.

It was cute to see them in their little costumes dancing on stage. They loved it!!!

UMM....UMM....Good!!

I have never had too much luck making wheat bread. I think it is my house or something. My mom makes beautiful bread every time. I use the same recipe and it doesn't quite turn out like hers does.
Kind of like pancakes...but I won't get into that.
So I have ventured this summer to work on my bread making skills. This was my batch for today.
Looks pretty nice...
Did I really make that?

I also found a recipe for a Chicken dumpling thing. It used whole wheat for the dumplings and it VERY Delicious. I was very happy with how it turned out. I will definitely make that one again. So my baking adventures turned out on a good note today. I will take a deep breath and savour the moment. Until I have to think of something to make for the next meal.

The results of having blood drawn...

So I had to have some blood tests done a week or so ago and the lady said she was going to have to take a lot of blood. 7 vials she said. She told me it would bruise.....
I had no idea what I was in for
This is what it looked like 5 days after I had my blood drawn.
This was yesterday. I am begining to wonder if this thing is ever going to heal. It has been over a week and it still looks horrible. It looks like I have been abused or something.

Saratoga SPLASH!!!

A picture is worth a thousand words, and this picture of Kenna says it all!
We went to the Saratoga Splash event because Saileen's Ballet calss was performinig there.
We showed up and it was cloudy but not too bad. After being there 20 or 30 minutes it started to rain....and rain.....and then rain harder.....so the umbrealla wasn't cutting it any more so we headed for cover. After began to get very cold and smart as we were, not all of us brought jackets. So I grabbed 2 of my kids and Saileen ran as fast as we could to the car. We waited for a minute to see if it would blow over...but it didn't. Kenna was crying and said "I want to go home!!" So when the lightning and thunder started. We called it a day and went home.
When it was named Saratoga Splash, I didn't think they meant literally!

The cat is out of the bag!!

Yes it is true.....we are expecting our 4th baby. I am only 8 weeks along so we have a ways to go. We are due in January, so this will be our 1st winter baby!
